Hello, Hi-Low

Ladies, this trend of wearing a hi-low dress or coat over pants is a classic look that dates back to 1955! This silhouette flatters many body types and was originally designed by Elois Jenssen for her famed client, Lucille Ball (I Love Lucy).  This look is fire right now! Though it was thought of in 1955, there really is nothing new in fashion. Trends are recycled classic mainstays with a modern edge.

In recent years, the look has shown up on the runways of designers Elie Saab, Naeem Khan, and one of my favorite designers to work with- Linda Stokes for LSO designs!

Today the look has trickled down into many of the more affordable stores and online boutiques. The great thing about this look is that no matter how you pair it, you’re winning!
