Fall Trend: Chunky Heels

This story takes me back to the show Sex and the City and fond memories of Cindy Chupack (a writer on the show who I adored) whom I met when we both worked on Everybody Loves Raymond...

Anywho, anytime I think of heels- I can’t help but to think of how Sex and the City celebrated the notion that “The higher the heels... The Fiercer”.... I remember seeing ladies (especially on the streets of NYC) trying to walk in 6 inch heels like they were tennis shoes....

Now don’t get we wrong, I LOVE to see a lady in a FIERCE shoe! However, I don’t consider it elegant, tasteful, or appealing for a woman to have a pair of heels on that she can’t effortlessly tip (walk) in... There are plethora of choices when it comes to marrying style to comfort, that a woman can choose to achieve her desired Georgeousness😉 

I’m so glad that fashion is a constant rotation of making what’s old- new again! I remember the yard of Howard University in the early 90’s, when the chunkier the heel, the better!!!! Well- that moment in fashion is back!!! I can hear my mom uttering “I remember in the early 70’s when I was in college- the chunkier the heels- the better”! Well- that moment is back! Here are some of the looks that are on trend today....
